Well, overall it's well done. The outlining is bad, though. Like around the Midfor13 thing; There are still white outlines.

That looks amazing for a first attempt! Like Hiche suggested, you should definitely clean up those outlines. Photoshop should help you out, but if you're as poor as I am, Serif Photoplus 6.0 is a nice cheap alternative.

lol yeah im cheap so im using paint.NET its a good program (and free) as for the outlines ive seen that and tried fixing it but well yeah....its not an easy one..

Awesome for a first attempt. One thing though, try to make the background match the focus a bit more. In this case the soldier. And use a blur tool to eliminate the choppy outline.
