Community Hack

I had an idea come up about doing a community hack. Dark Link seems to like the idea, and I wanted to see if anyone else does. If anyone wants to help in creating this hack, please say so. It is not mandatory or anything like that. First we need ideas and a good name. First impressions are good for getting people attention and interest in this. We will try to get this posted in PokeCommunity and perhaps increase the popularity of this site in the process.

The ideas have to be something outstanding, not something people will think as another new hack. We have to try to think of new features and exiting events to place in the hack.

I will be leading the hack, so here you can officially join the team for the hack.

We will need:
Scripters --- Radium,
Spriters and Over World --- Gamer 2020
Mappers --- Radium, Dark Link, Dante the Demon Fae
Music ---

theres a bad team called team skyland that wants to control rayquaza

A good idea, we could maybe add something like that. About we all take a little while and come up with a short story for the hack and maybe we could combine it or something.

i think its good since magma controls groudon and aqua controls kyogre
and skyland controls rayquaza which nobody has thought of that idea

It sounds like something better suited for your hack, seeing your hack Magma and Aqua.

We might be able to use it, but remember this is not the Hoenn Region.

im telling you its a good idea because theres alot of hacks with team rocket and same evil team
look a pokemon prism it has its own evil team but i forgot what it was called

Ideas have to be thought out more properly, we can't just think for five minutes and decide on something. You know my Pokemon Police thread, it got a lot of attention because I planned it out a lot before posting it. I took out a notebook at home and wrote down so much information. When I posted it, people knew this was planned and it had much hope.

We will plan out something bigger. Not just a one line story. I will be back later and try to get more of a story for it. Remember, if the story is not all that interesting, then the hacking part of it might just go to waste.

You have seen the scrapbox right, it's full of people (at least some I think) trying to make a story like: An evil team is going after ***insert legendary pokemon***

I can sprite if needed but nothing to serious. im better at overworlds than any other kind of sprites though.

I reckon you need a storie that focuc's more on the gyms and pokemon leage tahn catching the lengendaries....thats my oppion

It doesn't need gyms either, it could be something even more original.

That's a good name, but I just say a hack with a similar name in the scrapbox in PC. It is Pokemon Law Enforcement.

which rom is gonna be used? fire red or ruby?

that sounds good but i think that the story would have to come first.

Well thats the only idea I have thats completely new (that i know of)

I think we could be using FireRed. FireRed has better graphics the RS and I think it's supported by many tools.
