New Event

Discuss what kinds of events we should keep to get people interested.

well i was thinkimg of maybe promotoing onlinr games or something. Like maybe have a world of warcraft (I dont play) section for example.
Or maybe have the pokemon section als include FR/LG/E over hamachi.

Hamachi is a good idea, if we set the section up correctly, this place could grow quite popular.

Well the way hamachi works we could start our own network type "server"
But we would need people willing to actually play. A place to start looking would be youtube i think. Maybe we could also have an xbox section. And a section for online psp games. idk im just spitballing.

That's a good idea, and hamachi also supports other games too right? We could add a whole new section. It might be something very few forums offer, an organized area for online games.

well using hamachi its possible to play gba games online using vba link.(I wrote a tutorial before.) But I here there are other games that can be played like call of duty 4. I'd have to look into it though just to be sure.

1) Make a tournament in the Regular Games section.
2) Invite more members and spread word of the tourney.
3) Create rules that cause mass mayhem.
4) ???
5) Profit!

Well, I think a film competition would be really cool. Like the admins judge. We'd need a LOT more videos though.
You could have like five different categories such as:
Humour
Horror
Animation
Etc...
'Twould be grand.

Also, I believe a Hack of the Month is in order, but again, we need more.

Err. Events. Art Competition. Like the drawing, and then a graphic one.

Just a quick idea I had, similar to the community hack.
We should have something like "Pass the hack", where a person starts the hack by doing one thing (sprite, map, script, tiles, etc...), makes an ips, and sends it to the next person in line. That person does one thing, and passes it on, and so on.

It would just be cool to see it transitioning to different styles of hacking.

I don't know, that could be very complicated.

All you'd need is a way to attach..attachments. Then you have ten people at a time sign up, and go in that order, until all those ten people have done something, then get ten more. I think it may work, it would just be really slow.

I think we should focus more on the community hack at the moment, but your idea was alright though.
